Join the Mighty Army of Volunteers
Since opening our doors in 2005, Love's Arm volunteers have been a driving force in transforming the lives of countless women survivors. With a small but dedicated team, we rely on the passion and commitment of our incredible volunteers to bring hope, support, and positive change to those we serve. Simply put, we couldn’t do it without them.
Volunteer Opportunities
Love’s Arm volunteers are committed, passionate, purposeful, and are actively engaged in the work of carrying hope and healing to women survivors of exploitation and addiction. Any direct work with survivors requires a background check, training and the volunteer be 21 years or older.
Helpline
Helpline volunteers have access to an extensive list of agencies and resources and are trained in trauma-informed care related to Adverse Childhood Experiences/PTSD and sexual trauma.
If a caller self-identifies as being in need of immediate assistance, we immediately transition her to receive emergency help.
Street Outreach
Multiple times each month, Love’s Arm volunteers head to the streets.
We engage in and nurture relationships with survivors who work in street prostitution by offering prayer, hygiene supplies, food, water, clothing and transitional resources.
Strip Club Outreach
Each month a small group of ladies, some who themselves were redeemed out of the strip clubs, go in to engage in and nurture Jesus-centered relationships with people working in a local club.
Prayer Team
Love’s Arm believes prayer is the most valuable work of service for the Kingdom of God.
Prayer volunteers participate in our volunteer training and are welcomed confidentially into our private Facebook group for prayer updates. We also meet weekly for a time of meditation and prayer.
Detention Classes
Partnering volunteer teams go to the Silverdale Detention Facility twice a month to lead Bible studies that spiritually engage and empower incarcerated women.
Ready Writers Team
For those who are incarcerated, mail is an open door of encouragement. The Ready Writers team reaches out with hope, resources, and God’s love to those we have met on the streets and students from our classes at the local detention facility.
