Our Mission
Love, advocacy, and support for women survivors of trafficking, addiction and all forms of commercial sexual exploitation. Giving women a choice with a voice and hope for a life worth loving in a Christ-centered community of grace.
Our Story
Love's Arm was founded in 2005 by Mimi Nikkel, a courageous survivor of childhood sexual abuse and trafficking. Driven by a passion for helping others, Mimi began leading Bible studies with incarcerated survivors, where she was deeply moved by their need for hope and healing. This experience inspired her to reach out to those still on the streets, offering them a path to recovery and restoration. Under her visionary leadership, Love's Arm became an official non-profit organization in 2015 and opened its first holistic recovery residence in 2018, creating a safe haven for those seeking a fresh start. After retiring in 2023, Mimi continues to be a guiding light for the organization, providing IT support and mentorship.
